New Lease on Life

So three days ago I went to work, felt awful and came back home.  I was weirdly hungry and ate a lot of cookies, chocolate, and ginger candies, and then felt even worse, of course. Yesterday I ate very little, ran a fever for a while and slept a lot.
Today, I felt better, but still feverish, so I stayed home and got ambitious and tidied up the house some. I got out a pretty basket and sorted the pile of papers on my dining room table into things to file (into the basket), things to recycle, (into a shopping bag to take to the recycling center, and things to burn (into the woodstove).
I also started a more organized set of lists to document what I get done, in a sort of bullet journal, since the planner/calender on my phone does not serve to keep a good record of what I do when.
I also ate some good food, little sugar or other carbs.
Now, at bedtime, I feel normal and am looking forward to going to work.  Very odd how having a more organized and attractive environment and a clear plan of action can help a person feel better physically and mentally.

A Little Girl for the Ponies

Adorable hubby found a 10 year old girl who wants to learn about horses. Her dad is going to bring her around once a week so she can get familiar with them.
She is a nice little girl and Sheba and Ceasar both liked her the way most horses are very interested in young humans.
This will be good for me too. Having to plan ahead and get the ponies and tack ready will help me focus and allocate time for them. They need more attention as can be seen from this pic, wherein they are communicating their desire for me to stop and talk to them very clearly!
